Born December 30, 1994, Ferrell Edmunds III, “Trey,” is the oldest of the Edmunds brothers and is named after his father, former NFL tight end Ferrell Edmunds, Jr. He has been an excellent role model for his younger brothers, exemplifying integrity, honesty, and living by the Golden Rule. Trey played collegiate football for Virginia Tech, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Communications/Business Leadership, and he played for the University of Maryland, where he continues working toward his Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development. In 2017, Trey was an undrafted free-agent Running Back/Special Teams player for the New Orleans Saints NFL team. In 2018, he signed onto the practice squad of the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers and will play alongside brother Terrell. Trey takes great pride in community involvement and honoring those who have paved the way; he especially enjoys working with kids.
